Detroit City FC opened its season Tuesday with a 0-0 draw against CalIfornia United in a NISA Legends Cup match at Finley Stadium in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Nate Steinwascher notched the shutout in goal for Le Rouge, making five saves.
Detroit City next squares off against Stumptown Athletic at noon Friday in the NISA Legend Cup.
