Four-star DE Josh King commits to Michigan State

Michigan State has added 6-foot-6, 233-pound defensive end Josh King of South Hinsdale (Ill.) High to its 2016 recruiting class. King announced he plans to attend MSU on Friday.

The four-star player is the 14th commit to the Spartans 2016 recruiting class.

King was also considering Notre Dame, Michigan, Penn State and USC.

King is ranked the No. 104 best high school player nationally and No. 12 top defensive end by Scout.com. He has a verified 40-yard dash time of 5.31.

MSU is awaiting word on two other defensive recruits.

Four-star defensive end Auston Robertson of Fort Wayne High (Ind.) is expected to announce Sunday. The 6-foot-5, 230-pound weak-side DE is also considering Michigan, Ohio State, Notre Dame and Alabama.

Another four-star recruit, defensive tackle Naquan Jones of Evanston (Ill.), is anticipated to make his announcement Monday. The 6-4, 284-pound lineman is also considering South Carolina, Ohio State, Penn State and Michigan.
