‘Guardians of the Galaxy’s Star-Lord character revealed to be bisexual in new Marvel comic

Bisexuality is back to the future.

Guardians of the Galaxy’s Peter Quill, aka Star-Lord, has been revealed to swing both ways.

The beloved character – portrayed by Chris Pratt in the Marvel Cinematic Universe – was depicted to be in a polyamorous relationship with both a male and female character in the most recent “Guardians of the Galaxy #9” comic book.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the new installment, titled “I Shall Make You a Star-Lord,” takes place on the fictional land of Morinus, where Star-Lord falls in love and initiates a relationship with two humanoids of the planet, named Aradia and Mors.

The outlet included a page from the new comic where Star-Lord calls Morinus his new home and bathes with both characters, saying to them, “Thanks for accepting me, guys.”

The comic was written by Al Ewing and illustrated by Juann Cabal.

While Star-Lord is confirmed to be canonically bisexual in the comics, it is unknown if the billion-dollar film franchise will address the character’s sexuality in future Guardians movies.

Director James Gunn, Pratt or Marvel Studios had not yet publicly commented on the matter.
