Detroit Dog Rescue and others seek donations during COVID-19 pandemic

'Renegade' was transported here as a stray by DDR after being found by Detroit Animal Control (DAC) officers with severe injuries, including, a missing left ear, a partially missing right ear, a dislocated toe and multiple-bit wounds from what officials believe are from dog fighting.

The 10-week-old male Pitbull mix was thrown from a vehicle (unknown if moving or stationary) into a Detroit alley. After sustaining what is believed to be a severe-spinal injury, 'Nike' is being rehabbed by Dugan here and at home as the puppy can only pull himself around by his front legs.
