Bollinger Motors: Shelves retail for commercial truck production

A Bollinger Motors B1 SUV all electric, all wheel drive off-road vehicle made in Michigan rolls into the showroom.

The dashboard and doors of the Bollinger vehicles show flat, hard surfaces.

Both the front and rear ends of the vehicles have drop-down tailgates so that you can run long cargo – boards, rolled, carpet, steel frames - from one end to the other. The B2 pickup has enough pass-through space for 16-foot-long boards. The B1 SUV can hold 13-foot boards.

Both of the Bollinger electric vehicles have storage space up front in the "frunk."

Bollinger says their trucks are all electric. All aluminum. All wheel drive. And built in Detroit.

The Bolinger B2 pickup has drop gates in the front- and rear - so you can pass through longboards.

Bollinger Motors Inc. will sell Class 3, 4 and 5 electric commercial trucks.

Bollinger is ditching plans to build an off-road pickup and sell its EV platform for heavy duty applications. Note to dually wheels in the rear.

The Bollinger EV platform is offered with 70 kWh, 140 kWh, and 220 kWh battery sizes in a variety of wheelbases.

The Bollinger EV platform can be upfitted for a variety of vehicles including small garbage trucks, tow trucks, and municipal buses.

The Bollinger EV platform is made for heavy duty, Class 3-6 applications - unlike competitor, Class 2 trucks based on light duty frames.
